02/23/24 Fracos

The band headed over to Littleton to play a ticketed show at Fracos.  We don't do a lot of these types of shows yet, so it was good practice in organizing the event launch with lots of invitations and running multiple FaceBook/Instagram ads with the goal of taking people to the ticket page.

We worked with Doug Bohm who is promoting Fracos shows, who came up with a really cool background image for the show.  We also got some help from Bob Mitner, who recorded a professional radio ad for this show, which we used in one of our FB video ads.  Bob is a long-time friend of our Drummer, Chris Alfano.

This was the first at Fracos for half the band.  Some of us played there in 2022 under the previous band name/lineup.   The club has made a lot of improvements lately with a better sound system, more storage room next to the stage and a really nice green room for the band to use when not playing.

The show was really fun, with an enthusiastic crowd who gave us some great feedback about the song selection and performance (photo credits: Joanne Alfano)

A funny thing happened with lighting during the show.  Some of the red lasers used hit the keyboards in a way that made it look like some of the buttons that don't normally light up were bright red.  It caused some momentary confusion for our keyboard player (Darren), until he figured out what was going on.
